Damien Wayne and his new pet Goliath.
DC Comics Robin son of Batman

I always thought Black Panther, Moon Knight, and Daredevil would make a cool team.   I like the combination of their colors and how they are each monochromatic.

I inked both of these with my brand new penbrush.  My first attempts with the new tool.

Lifesize comic book covers for International Museum Exhibit

The figures are on separate layers and will be lifesize cutouts for the museum exhibit.

I'm a huge Jim Krueger fan, and got a chance to meet him.  I thought his Footsoldiers would look good in this cartoony style.  The details in the colors look cool when you zoom in.

Empire Beneath the Ice Book Cover
My first digital painting.  Happy with the retro look.  Check out Stephen Quayle's books, well worth you while.

Some new original watercolor art I haven't yet posted.  Mike Mignola's Hellboy, Wonder Woman, Spawn covered with the Venom symbiote, She-Ra the princess of Power from the Masters of the Universe, J'onn J'onzz the Martian Manhunter and a regular old Venom... with blood :)

Watercolor was the first medium I was schooled in.  I am just getting back into it, and it is a blast!  Wonder-woman is always fun to paint.

Here is a Judge Dredd cover I did.  Clear line inks and then "tones" with washes.  I knew I wanted to do something with his bike, the Lawmaster.  So I concentrated on that.

The Hulk vs. Swampthing

Green on Green.  Swampthing being well done these days.  The Hulk is best as a team character.

Batman Sketch

Christmas Batman request.  Thought I'd post it before it goes out the door.

Here's another of my sketches.  This one is a duo of Chewbacca and Mr. T.  This technique is fun, but it doesn't scan well.  The canson paper has  a very nice subtle color but it gets dulled out when scanned :(  But at least you get an idea...  The idea for this piece came from a comic I wrote involving Chewy and Mr. T as roommates.

The Thing from marvel comics with a Tim Tebow Denver Broncos Jersey

The Thing from marvel comics with a Tim Tebow Denver Broncos Jersey
Here I used colored pencils to do the shading and highlights.  I use the colored paper as a mid-tone like a conte drawing.

Super Girl Comic Convention Print

Supergirl print for cons!  Or is it Superwoman?
Here I used purely photoshop, (which is odd for me) to do the shading techniques and so forth.  I was playing with soft and hard edges.  Just a little extra step in making selections before shading away.
